MIFFF's second year will debut 4 feature films and over 40 short films to cinema fans across the Pacific Northwest. Descriptions and synopsis's of all the films can be accessed at the MIFFF website. MIFFF's feature films which are nearly all northwest premiere's include facing a reckoning in "Blood River", award winning festival favorite Mørke Sjeler (Dark Souls)", you are not prepared for the 18+ only Srpski Film (A Serbian Film) , & a darkly romantic ghost story "The Presence".
Tickets are available in advance online. Tickets will also be available at the theater each day of the festival. The venue is the SIFF Cinema, 321 Mercer St., at McCaw Hall on the campus of Seattle Center in Seattle. Complete box office can be found here:

MIFFF is pleased to announce that it's an official sponsor of SIFF's Midnight Adrenaline film track. Midnight Adrenaline returns to SIFF with an overdose of highly addictive, unpredictable, and suspense-inducing features for the cult film junkie. MIFFF will be holding a trivia contest before some of the screenings with the prizes being a full weekend pass to the 2010 Maelstrom International Fantastic .
SIFF showcases an onslaught of classic genre film including a zombie apocalypse, slasher backwoods hillbillies (sort of), medieval fantasy games, and unusually enhanced geishas.
Cult-classic grindhouse film reaches a whole new level with Israel Lunaʼs controversial transploitation film, Ticked-Off Trannies with Knives.
Zombie mayhem ensues with a live ZomBcon event at Boom Noodle before the screening of George A. Romeroʼs Survival of the Dead, the sixth zombie film by the godfather of undead cinema.

2010 Maelstrom International Fantastic Film Festival
MIFFF is seeking features, documentaries, short films and animation for the 2nd annual festival.
MIFFF has officially opened the submission season for the 2010 Festival. The premier genre film festival in the Pacific Northwest, MIFFF showcases action, animation, fantasy, horror, science fiction, and other mind-blowing films from across the globe.
